By becoming a member or making a donation to the Or Gallery, you are directly promoting growth, dissemination and experimentation in contemporary art. The Or Gallery relies on the generosity of its members and donors to help us cover important operating costs such as artist fees, rent, shipping, equipment rentals, printing costs and more.
Or Gallery Membership Levels
$10 Student Membership
E-mail invitations to opening events and a 20% discount on Or Gallery publications.
$25 Regular Membership
Mailed and/or e-mail invitations to all openings and a 20% discount on Or Gallery publications; voting rights at the Or Gallery’s Annual General Meeting.
All of the above plus invitations to special events and a tax receipt for the donation portion of your membership; acknowledgement on the Or Gallery’s website (optional).
All of the above plus 10% off Or Bookstore stock and 30% off Or Gallery publications, plus invitations to Or Gallery Parlour and donor events.
$250-$499 Donor (Advocates’ Circle)
All of the above plus invitations to special studio visits with Or Gallery artists and invitation to Advocate’s Circle events
$500-$999 Donor (Patrons’ Circle)
All of the above plus a free Or Gallery publication and invitation to Patron’s Circle events. Invitation to international tours.
$1000-$2999 Benefactor (Gold Circle)
All of the above, plus two complimentary tickets to paid fundraising events and invitation to Gold Circle events.
$3000+ Major Benefactor (Gold Circle)
All of the above, plus a special gift or artist multiple.
Special Donor Categories
$1500+ Or Gallery Berlin Founder’s Circle
Acknowledgement in Or Gallery Berlin promotional material, plus special news and invitations related to Or Gallery Berlin.
$1000+ Sustaining Donor
50% of donation goes to support yearly operating and programming, and 50% is added to an endowment fund to sustain the Or Gallery for years to come.
$5,000 – $10,000 Exhibition Sponsor
Special recognition on Or Gallery promotional material and opening event
The Or Gallery is a non-profit society and registered Canadian charity. Tax receipts will be issued for all donations over $25
Memberships can be purchased with cash, cheque, or credit card. You can also donate online viaPayPal or Canada Helps. All memberships are valid for one year from the date of purchase. Please let us know if you would like your donation listed anonymously, your donation spread over monthly payments, or if you’d prefer not to receive e-mail or mailed invites.
