The Or Gallery established Or Gallery Berlin as a satellite space in December 2010, building on the centre’s long history of international projects and collaborations. Or Gallery Berlin operated as a small gallery space at 37 Oranienstrasse until July 2014. Since that time, the Or Gallery has moved its Berlin operations to new space across the hall from its original location. The new Or Gallery Berlin Project and Residency Space boasts a more open architecture better suited to talks, screenings and studio use, as well as modest living quarters to host visiting artists, writers, and curators for short-term stays as well as longer-term residencies.
