The Other/Or Gallery

The Other/Or Gallery (an alternative, alternative gallery) is a small-scale (1/4" = 1') model of the Or Gallery located at Richards and Smithe in downtown Vancouver , BC . It is mobile, measuring only 7" h x 22" l x 18" w and weighting approximately 20 pounds. Painted white wooden panel accurately replicates the actual professional exhibition space ofthe Or Gallery. The floor and outer structure are constructed of cement board.

Miniature art works are positioned on the wall with double-sided tape or tiny pins depending on the nature of the work. On the floor tiny freestanding pieces of sculpture or plinths can be positioned to best advantage for the viewer who walks around this gallery outside its walls.

The gallery is displayed on a moveable stand or plinth that will travel to various locations and events for a period of two months.
