August 2004 - ongoing Elora and Fergus Ontario, Canada TAG gallery is another project of the village idiots. It is more underground, with one artist tagging another artist to put art into the community each month. The currently tagged artist tags the next one, and so on. The pieces can be permanent or temporary, hidden away or blatantly shown, with or without artist ID. The point is to get art into the community, where it can be encountered unexpectedly, and where it can claim a place in everyday life. The Village Idiots oversee only in order to keep the tag game going. The rest is left completely in the hands of the artists.Current Contact Info: |
